I see a lot of tractors on farms. What technology is used in these tractors?

Share

It has been a long time since horse and buggy have been used on a farm. Even since then the tractors used on the farm have changed a lot. Farmers use tractors to feed their cows, and plant and harvest their crops. Tractors help farmers accomplish a lot more on their farm to take care of their cows and land.

Aside from a backup camera which is similar to what you may have in your vehicles. Tractors on a farm have many other tools and technologies that help them become more efficient and sustainable. The GPS monitors moisture of the crop to help them decide when to harvest. The yield per acre is also monitored and then mapped so the farmer can use the data to manage their soil health for the next crop.

Learn about these technologies and more as Eric Casper with Kasper Land and Cattle breaks down the tools he is implementing on the dairy.
