Ingredients

  • 2-4 pears
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon bark
  • Sprinkle juice from 1 lime
  • Small piece of thyme
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1 scoop of ice cream or yogurt per serving

First, pre heat the oven at 350F

Halve pears and remove the core with a small spoon

Smear coconut oil on top of the pear halves.

Place cut side up in your baking dish.

Sprinkle on top of pears:

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon bark
  • Sprinkle juice from 1 lime
  • Small piece of thyme

Bake at 350F for 30 minutes

To make caramelized nuts add to a frying pan 1 tablespoon of coconut oil until it makes a syrup, 1/2 cup walnuts and 1/2 cup almonds. Keep on medium heat fry for 5 minutes continuously stirring.

Enjoy baked pears with a scoop of ice cream or yogurt and caramelized nuts!
