Place all the ingredients in your blender and blend until a smooth pureed consistency. Top with a dash of ground cardamom.
Divide into 4 glasses and enjoy!
Note: If you like your lassi colder, you can add ice cubes to the blender and crush along with the fruit and milk.
Background: Mango lassi is a delicious sweet and cooling beverage that compliments spicy Indian cuisine. Mango is the national fruit of India and there are so many varieties available throughout the Indian summer season. When you try a mango lassi at a restaurant, most likely it is made from sweetened mango pulp. This is quite different from making it at home with fresh or frozen mangos.
