Taco Chili

The perfect hardy meal to serve the entire family on a cold day. Be sure to top off with some sour cream, cheese, and chips!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 – 2 lbs ground beef or turkey (amount to liking)
  • 1 can of ranch style beans
  • 1 can of mixed chili beans
  • 1 can of black beans
  • 1 can of pinto beans
  • 1 can of cannellini beans
  • 1 can of great northern beads
  • 1 can of dark red kidney beans
  • 1 can of light red kidney beans
  • 1 can of red beans
  • 1 can of navy beans
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can of southwest whole kernel corn
  • 1 can of diced green chilies
  • 1 can of jalapeno peppers (optional)
  • 1-2 taco seasoning packets
  • Additional toppings: sour cream, cheeses of choice, tortilla chips, corn chips, Doritos, green onions, and olives

Start by browning the meat and combine all of the ingredients into a crockpot or pot for a quicker cooking time. If using a crockpot, cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. For stovetop, heat until all ingredients are warm. Top with sour cream, cheeses of choice, tortilla chips, corn chips, Doritos, green onions, and olives.

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator or froze, but they are also good to make chili dogs.
